Matarromera Prestigio was born with a triple objective: to generate a unique, special, different wine that reflects its magnificent vineyards in Valbuena de Duero; break with the rules of wine aging (crianza, reserva, gran reserva...), and satisfy the author's creative urge.
In this sense, it is only made in those vintages that are considered excellent. Although it is a wine that follows its own rules, its philosophy is based on aging for nine months in French oak barrels and nine months in American oak . Afterwards, it rests for two years in the bottle.
Matarromera Prestige is the conception of grapes from the emblematic Matarromera terroir "Pago de las Solanas". Its excellent insolation and location in a peculiar narrowing of the Duero Valley, which concentrates the convection winds every day, makes this plot unique.
The enormous quality and uniqueness of its grapes and the care with which its harvest is carried out are taken, at this point, for granted.
